Stephen J. O’Leary
Head—Equipment Finance

Steve O’Leary serves as a Managing Director of the Company and Head of its Equipment Finance and Leasing Division. He also serves on the firm’s Management Committee.

Mr. O’Leary has more than 25 years experience in the origination, syndication, underwriting, management and workout of portfolios of asset backed leases and loans. Most recently, Mr. O’Leary was the Director of Capital Markets for Greystone Equipment Finance responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with various funding sources that served specific segments of the equipment finance market. Prior to joining Greystone, he was the senior executive and founder of Eastern Bank’s equipment finance and leasing division. Under his leadership the portfolio grew to $130 million comprised of middle market equipment leases and loans. During his time at Eastern Mr. O’Leary also served on the bank’s Management Counsel and Credit Committee. Prior to his tenure at Eastern, Mr. O’Leary held various positions in the Capital Market Groups of AT & T Capital and Fleet Capital Leasing. He began his career at Shawmut Bank where he held various positions of increasing leadership and executive management responsibility. Prior to the acquisition of Shawmut by Fleet Mr. O’Leary served as the senior executive of the equipment finance and leasing division of the Bank. Under his leadership the portfolio grew to $400 million.

Mr. O’Leary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from American International College.
