Milton S. Iskra
National Marketing Manager

Milton Iskra serves a Managing Director of the company and the National Marketing Manger of NewStar Business Credit, the company's asset-based lending division.

Mr. Iskra joined the company from CORE Business Credit, which was acquired by NewStar in November 2010. Mr. Iskra has over 25 years of experience in both asset based and cash flow-based financing and has successfully built market share and grown portfolios in his previous roles.

Mr. Iskra joined CORE after a successful stint at Monroe Capital LLC, where he was a Senior Vice President responsible for loan origination in both the Southwest and West Coast marketplace. Prior to Monroe, Mr. Iskra spent nine years with Guaranty Business Credit and its predecessor company, Fidelity Funding Financial Group, as Senior Vice President and National Marketing Manager, where his duties included strategic planning, advertising, managing a national sales force and portfolio growth through new loan production as well as acquisitions. Prior to Guaranty Business Credit, Mr. Iskra was with Greyhound Financial, Corporate Finance Group on the West Coast. He also previously spent a number of years with Westinghouse Credit Corporation in various roles. Mr. Iskra has extensive experience with senior secured, cash flow and junior debt lending to a variety of industries.

Mr. Iskra earned his B.S. in finance and marketing and his M.B.A. from Humboldt State University. He is a member of the Commercial Finance Association, the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.
